The trick to a simple but exceedingly delicious avo toast: buttered peasant loaf(this one is from La Boulange-RIP), thinly sliced ripe avocado, lemon juice, chile flakes, black pepper, & heaps of kosher salt

As you've probably noticed, I eat A LOT of granola and yogurt for my weekday breakfasts. My go-to's are both local products: Pavel's Russian Yogurt and Arizmendi's Granola. Pavel's is a local favorite and I can usually find it at most grocery stores in the Bay Area. The flavor is less tart than Greek yogurt and it's also super light and creamy. I love it! Arizmendi Bakery's granola is super fresh and crunchy with a good amount of molasses and includes my favorite addition of sesame seeds. Top it with whatever fruit looks great at the market, toasted slivered almonds, and a drizzle of honey and you have me in heaven.

Hey y'all! I just got back from a quick weekend getaway to King's Beach at Lake Tahoe. We jet skied, kayaked, and went on multiple beach adventures all day on Saturday. The water was crystal clear and gorgeous while the town, adorable. Check out the Tahoe Central Market for freshly squeezed juices and delicious breakfast sandwiches. I ordered 'The Beet is On' made of apples, beets, carrots, & ginger. It will truly warm you up from the inside out. Detox complete.
